Objectives

1. Provide doctors with a practical approach towards emergency management in an interactive, hands-on, scenario-based workshop.

2. Diagnose and manage unwell patients in team-based environments as a leader following the principles of crisis resource management.

3. Provide doctors with a structured approach towards interpreting bedside and imaging investigations.

4. Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues in difficult situations. 

5. Perform lifesaving procedures efficiently and promptly.

6. Advice around work-life balance and healthy living

Target Audience

This continued education program is tailored as a step-up program for doctors who want to train in ED/ICU/Anaesthesia/Acute Medicine and for rural and metro GP/SMOs working in ED/HDU settings.
